Week of November 7

What we will be working on …
Reading:  Ms. Miller will continue leading the reading lesson this week.  The focus will be on comprehension and retelling the events in a story.
Writing:  For the month of November student will begin working on informative/opinion writing and how to write a paragraph.
Math:   We will begin Ch. 4, Multiplication.  Students will begin working on mastering multiplication facts.
Social Studies:  Students began learning about how a person can become the President of the United States, along with other information about our government and the Presidential candidates.  This will be our focus for the rest of November.

Science: We will be finishing our clouds project this month and start studying the parts of a tree.

November 11th:  Veteran’s Day-NO    School
November 12th:  Ace’s Hockey Choir    Fundraiser

Spelling Test on Thursday.
Wear Blue and Yellow on Thursday!!
